Red wine Señorio de Bocos "Roble", from the 2006 vintage, has climbed the podium after winning the 3rd place in the overall classification of the 2007 Envero Awards during VIII Week of Wine and Vine, held in Aranda de Duero between 26 and November 30, 2007.
From 26 to November 30, 2007, they were held in Aranda de Duero (Burgos), the ENVERO Wine Awards "Ribera de Duero" organized by the Hon. City of Aranda de Duero and with the collaboration of the Castilla y Leon through the Agricultural Technological Institute, the Control Board of the Designation of Origin "Ribera del Duero" and Caja Burgos.
Señorio de Bocos submitted to the contest one of its wines, the Roble 2006, and won the 3rd Prize for distinguished quality.
Hand the City of Aranda de Duero, the Envero Awards were born in 1997 with the specific aim of promoting the quality of the wines of Ribera del Duero. Over the years, its importance has grown and therefore parallel to the awards Week of Wine and Vine, a cycle in which the converging conferences, courses of tasters and sommeliers and roundtables great was established interest to wine lovers.
Gradually Envero Awards have become a benchmark within the Designation of Origin and this is reflected in the rise in the number of participating wineries.
