Our red wine Señorio de Bocos "Roble", from the vintage 2006, has been awarded the Silver Medal in Iberwine, the world Iberian wine fair, held in Madrid from 13 to 15 November 2007.

Much more than a trade fair, a major business forum of the Iberian wine.

A total of 315 wineries presented their wines, during the days 13-15 November, buyers, distributors and national hospitality industry. They have also had the opportunity to sit with over 350 importers and distributors from twenty-six countries, most notably Japan, USA, China, Finland, Germany, Belgium, Sweden, Russia and Korea.

The success of the program of activities has been reflected from the opening to the public in both round tables and conferences, which have failed to address important issues in connection with the sale of Spanish wines in different regions of the world; as numerous tastings where visitors were able to get close to the great wines of Spain and great wines.

The wine Señorio de Bocos has also been in Iberwine and has been awarded.

Our red wine Señorio de Bocos, from the vintage 2006, has been prized with the Silver Medal in the international competition Terravino 07 held from 4 to 8 November in Eilat (Israel).

The Mediterranean International Wine Spirits Challenge (MIWC) -Terravino 2007 was held in the majestic Isrotel King Solomon in the city of Eilat in southern Israel and on the shores of the Red Sea.

The OIV (Organisation of Vine and Wine) awarded its official patronage. The World Association of Journalists and Writers of Wines and Spirits (WAWWJ) has also granted the official auspices and included among the TOP 30 World Wine and Spirits Contests that award points for the World Ranking of Wines and Spirits 2007/2008 (WRW).

In this international competition, the wines of Señorio de Bocos have aroused great expectations and achieved the silver medal.

Our red wine Señorio de Bocos "Roble", from the 2006 vintage, was awarded the Silver Medal at the International Wine Award "Mundus Vini".

The International Wine Award MUNDUS VINI is organized in Germany for wines from all wine regions in the world competition. The International Academy of Wine MUNDUS VINI born in 2001 with the aim of bringing the wine in all its facets both consumers and professionals, while providing appropriate guidance on quality.

Already in its first edition, this wine contest reached a figure of 2,235 wines participation of all relevant producing regions of the world. The record participation in 2005 shows just how important it has been gradually gaining this contest in Germany. This time more than 4,400 wines were presented. Currently, MUNDUS VINI is the largest officially recognized wine competition in the world.

The evaluation system of the tasting corresponds to the valuation model of the International Union of Winemakers (UIOE) and the OIV, developed especially for international tastings. It is a mathematical scheme that provides for the allocation of weighted scores for the criteria "aspect", "bouquet", "palate" and "harmony / general impression".

Note that the composition of the jury presents a ratio of 4: 3 tasters between international and German.
