Our Red wine Señorio de Bocos "Roble", from the 2020 vintage, has been qualified as the Best young Red Oak from Ribera del Duero among the wines presented at the Envero 2022 awards, held in Aranda de Duero, European City of Wine 2022, on day June 18.

The most interesting and attractive aspect of this event is its participatory nature since, since 2014, it has opted for the organization of a massive tasting, which offers the final consumer the opportunity to form part of the jury and assess the wines presented in the competition, under the motto: “1,000 are always right”. In other words, any interested party can register and spend a great day working as a wine taster, thus being able not only to enjoy them but also to contribute their assessment and their own opinion.

The evaluation of the wines is carried out through 25 tasting panels made up of 40 tasters each.

The competition for the Envero Awards for Ribera del Duero wines began in 1997 with the intention of promoting and giving visibility to the quality wines of the Ribera del Duero Denomination of Origin, but also to promote the tourist, gastronomic and oenological resources of Aranda and region.

Little by little, the Envero Awards have become a benchmark within the Denomination of Origin and this is reflected in the rise in the number of participating wineries.

"Prague Wine Trophy" is an international wine competition organized annually by the Prague Wine Academy in the capital of the Czech Republic..

Prague Wine Academy (PWA) is an educational project founded in 2009 by Wine Revue. Its aim is to boost long-term educational activities of the magazine, support for education and culture of wine.

It has a comprehensive training system for professionals and wine lovers:

- Basic Course 1 wherein one learns to classify the wines and spirits

- Basic Course 2 in which the international varieties of grapes are learned

- Advanced Course on wines and spirits (led by the International Weinakademie Österreich) which will be held in February in Prague and in English

- Course in 'Diploma in Wines and Spirits WSET Level 4' in Weinakademie Österreich entirely in English. This course is a direct precursor of the Institute for the Study of Master of Wine.
